"The Pain is Unbearable" says Wife of Missing Whitby Man

Published by Matthew Pells at 10:39am 8th October 2019.

It's been five months since Whitby man Peter Brown was last seen by his family and friends.

46-year-old Peter was last seen in Scarborough on Wednesday the 8th of May.

Today in an emotional post on Facebook Peter's wife Natalie appealed for the public's help in finding Pete.

"Pete, you’ve been missing for 5 months today, the pain for us all is unbearable, we want you back safe to look after you & help you enjoy life again. I love you now, as always. Peter Brown

PLEASE KEEP THIS SEARCH GOING TO FIND PETE & IF YOU SEE HIM:
Ring the police;
Keep in sight;
Take a picture;
Report to search site.

Pete will not be aware of this search, he has suffered such a mental breakdown that he will be suffering from memory loss.

Please help him get to safety."

Police say enquiries and searches are ongoing to locate Peter, they ask that people continue to contact the police with any sightings and ask that they do that as soon as possible to enable the police to respond quickly.

He is described as white, about 6 foot 1 inches tall and of muscular/athletic build.

Police are concerned for his welfare and they believe Peter's been sleeping rough so might be difficult to recognise.

If anyone has seen Peter or has any information about his whereabouts, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room quoting reference 12190083137.
