The Met Office have issued flood warnings for the Bridlington area and there's deep water in Scarborough amid heavy rain and high tides.

They say:

'We expect overtopping to affect sea front areas as a result of high spring tides. Consequently, flooding of property, roads and land is possible between 4am and 9am and 4:30pm and 9:30pm on Sunday 29th September, and between 4:45am and 9:30am on Monday 30th September.

'Areas most at risk are properties at Harbour Road, South Pier and Floral Pavilion. Coastal conditions are expected to continue into next week.'

The roundabout at Peasholm Park which connects the A165, Royal Albert Drive and North Marine Road is also subject to deep standing water, but currently still open.
