Gas Canister Thrown Into Bridlington Building

Seven people were treated by paramedics in Bridlington last night after a canister of an unknown gas was thrown in to a building.

Humberside Police say they attended a building on Westgate just after 7pm following reports that  two men had thrown a canister of an unknown gas into a building

Humberside fire and rescue say an unknown gas was sprayed in the building and two adult females suffering from gas spray, were dealt with by paramedics, a further five people were checked over by the paramedics and did not require any further medical treatment.

Fire Service teams investigated the gas and advised staff to ventilate the property naturally by opening windows and doors.

Police say the suspects are both white, aged in their early 20s and wearing sportswear.
