Man Appears In Court After Car Hits House Near Ebberston

A man has appeared in court after a car hit a house near Ebberston. 

It happened back in March on the B1258 West Knapton to Snainton Road.

The car had left the road and intially collided with a dry stone wall before crashing into a house, smashing the windows of the property.

Bradley Colin Dunlop, 37, of Clinton Avenue in Hull, is charged with:

  • three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving
  • two counts of aggravated vehicle taking
  • driving a motor vehicle above the alcohol limit
  • driving with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit
  • driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence
  • and for having no insurance

Mr. Dunlop is yet to enter a plea for all nine charges.

He is on conditional bail to appear at York Crown Court next month.
