Bridlington Welcomes Classic Cars

Bridlington Welcomes Classic Cars

Published by Matthew Pells at 6:01pm 14th September 2019.

There will be a parade of classic cars through Bridlington on Sunday morning as the towns Weekend of Motoring continues.

The big annual car show takes place at Sewerby Hall on Sunday and is preceded by a procession of classic vehicles through the town itself.

Ian Sadofsky is one of the organisers.

The Sunday Parade will start from the Bridlington Park and Ride with cars set off in batches from 9:45am. They will make their way to Sewerby Hall where the car show opens at 10am.

The car show is aimed primarily at classic, modified and modern touring cars, but also welcomes quirky or interesting vehicles.

Ian says today's show is a great opportunity to see some classic vehicles.

Tickets for public admission to the show will be the normal Sewerby Hall and Gardens admission tickets and are available on the gate.

David James, of North Humberside Motor Club, said:

"After successfully organising the Scenic Run in 2018, North Humberside Motor Club Ltd are grateful to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council for the opportunity to take over organisation of the Show and Parade as well.

Having come to an agreement only recently, we are pleased to have Maple Garage come on board as commercial sponsors and we hope to grow the number of exhibitors year on year."
