SeaFit Healthtrainers Hold Event in Bridlington

SeaFit Healthtrainers Hold Event in Bridlington

Published by Jon Burke at 6:31am 12th July 2019.

SeaFit Healthtrainers working on the East Yorkshire coast are holding a Fun Day in Bridlington for fishermen and their families this coming Saturday, 13th July, as part of Seafarers Awareness Week.

They will be down at the Boat Shed on Bridlington Harbour from 10am – 4pm, with games for all the family.

From an Obstacle Course to a Treasure Hunt, this is a day to play games, win prizes, have fun and find out about the services on offer. There’s free fitness analysis with Boditrax for those who want to get fit for sea, and a pop-up fish stall from Arnolds of Bridlington will be there too.

Talking about the Fun Day, Fishermen’s Mission Superintendent Tracey Stephens said:

“We know what a challenge it can be to find things to occupy the kids. So bring them down to the harbour this weekend for a day of fun and games. We’ll be there with the Healthtrainer team to tell you about what they do, from free NHS checks to stop smoking advice and support. It’s not just about helping fishermen GetSeaFit – it’s something for the whole family. Kids, mums, dads and grandparents - everyone is welcome!”
