Searches Continue To Find Missing Whitby Man

Today marks two weeks since a Whitby man went missing.

46-year-old Peter Brown was last seen in Scarborough on Wednesday the 8th of May.

He is described as white, about 6 foot 1 inches tall and of muscular/athletic build.

Police are concerned for his welfare and they believe Peter's been sleeping rough so might be difficult to recognise.

A public search has been organised for 6pm tonight (Wednesday 22nd May) around the Oliver's Mount area.

Police say enquiries and searches are ongoing to locate Peter, they ask that people continue to contact the police with any sightings and ask that they do that as soon as possible to enable the police to respond quickly.

If anyone has seen Peter or has any information about his whereabouts, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room quoting reference 12190083137.
