Earthquake in North Yorkshire

The British Geological Survey say there was a small earthquake in the North York Moors national park this morning.

The 2.8 magnitude quake occurred just south of Fryup near Egton Bridge at 5am.

The quake was 31km below ground and was unlikely to be felt.
