Elderly Woman Hit By Car In Scarborough
An elderly woman has been hit by a vehicle in Scarborough.
Police were called to the incident outside the Ramshill Hotel on Ramshill Road, at around 8.55am.
The woman was crossing the road when she was hit by a Land Rover. She's been taken to Scarborough Hospital with minor injuries.
The road has since re-opened. It's the FOURTH incident this week involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
Yesterday (Thursday 8 February) an 11 year old girl was hit by a car near Scalby School and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
On Tuesday (6 February) a 13 year old boy was hit by a car in Seamer, injuring his ankle and on Saturday (3 February) a woman was hit by a car on Falsgrave Road, injuring her arm.
