Teenager Injured In Seamer Collision

A 13 year old boy has been injured after a collision in Seamer, Scarborough this morning.

It happened at around 7.45am at the Crossgates roundabout on the B1261. The teenager was involved in a collision with a car.

An ambulance attended the scene and treated him for a possible ankle injury.

They sent a rapid response vehicle, a doctor and an ambulance and took the boy to hostpital.

The Ambulance Service says he was treated for minor injuries.

One of the carriageways was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident but was reopened at 8.40am
