Traders are being invited to apply for a stall, gazebo or catering van at the Bridlington Old Town 1940's Festival.

Last year, it is believed the event attracted nearly 20,000 visitors from around the UK.

The location was used for the filming of Dad's Army and it is hoped it will bring back memories of the filming.

David Hinde, Bridlington Old Town Association's spokesman, explains why applications are open so early:

He says it will benefit the area:

Stalls start at £40 for Crafts/1940s Memorabilia and owner Catering Gazebos/Mobile Units from £90.

The Trader Application Form can be downloaded from the event website

David tells us who will be making an appearance at the festival:

Bridlington Old Town Association is also awaiting confirmation of an RAF 'Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight Flyover' on the afternoon of the Festival, subject to suitable weather conditions.
