Help Needed at Newby and Scalby Hall

News New Graphic 600 x 400

8:30am 19th March 2017

Newby and Scalby Community Hall is looking for more Trustees to help run it.

Existing members are particularly keen to hear from younger people, who can bring in fresh ideas.

The board meets once a month and the hall is used for a variety of things, including table top sales, zumba and private parties.

Current Trustee, Cecil Ridley, said:

"Obviously young people have young brains and young ideas. At the moment, the average age of the Trustees is about 70. We want to lower that age and I'm sure young blood would bring new ideas and would be beneficial to the hall".

The Board meets on the first Wednesday of the month, or if you're interested in finding out more, you can call 01723 500699.
