When we are in a state of uncertainty, all sorts of possibilities arise and this can give rise to fear and worry. What is around the corner? What is in the darkness? Anything could happen. Lack of certainty and clarity creates fear and this can give rise to many negative emotions.

The practice of Green Tara represents swift activity to overcome obstacles, fears and dangers of many kinds, in particular the sixteen fears. These sixteen fears represent eight external and eight internal fears and dangers.

The instructions will focus on the Mind training practice and the Five Strengths. They are a summary of the crucial points of practice in the Mahayana Instructions for How to Live and How to Die.

The course will cover the Fourth Point in the Seven Points of Mind training, as a summary of the mind training teachings. It focuses on utilizing the practice in one's whole life, as well as at the time of death.

Lama Zangmo will go through these in detail and will give more understanding of the meaning of the Tara practice itself, as well as give instructions on how to deal with the harmful emotions.
