Wold Top Brewery is holding its annual open weekend at Hunmanby Grange on 1 st and 2 nd June.

Visitors to Wold Newton/Hunmanby based Wold Top brewery will be taken on guided tours by members of the brew team and will be able to see where and how the award winning ales are made using home grown barley and water from the farm’s borehole.

Visitors will be also be able to visit the garden that Wold Top Brewery co-founder and horticulturalist, Gill Mellor created despite its exposure to the elements and a challenging soil. Children will be free to explore the wild and wooded parts of the garden and the garden’s lawns will be available for visitors to picnic on.

Entry to both events costs £5 for adults and is free for children aged 16 and under. The tours and the gardens are both wheelchair accessible.

The brewery and the gardens will be open between 11am and 5pm on both days and
proceeds from the entry money will go via the National Garden Scheme to nursing charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK.
St. Cuthbert’s Church in neighbouring Burton Fleming will benefit from the tea and coffee money and proceeds from the bar takings will go to the brewery’s charity of the year, Mind.

For more information and directions to the farm that houses the gardens and the
brewery, please visit www.woldtopbrewery.co.uk or call the office on 01723 892222.
