As part of St Mark's Community Arts Festival, there will be a literary evening in the church on Thursday 23rd May. The evening will feature prizewinning author Antony Dunn, local crime writer Gary Mortimer, and local author of short stories and novels, Dorinda Cass. Also taking part will be Bridget Foreman, playwright and theatre director of Riding Lights, National Youth and Pilot theatres. There will also be readings in memory of local poet, Cathy Arnott.
The evening will start with a collection of cheeses (including vegan), biscuits, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
There will be an opportunity to put questions to the guest speakers.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Donations in aid of the church annex fund will be warmly welcomed.
