8 March 2018 | 6pm-8pm

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is #PressForProgress.

To mark the day, SMT will be holding an ‘In conversation with’ style event, featuring a panel of women who have broken through the glass ceiling of the museum world. They will be discussing their experiences and issues surrounding gender equality within the industry.

Speakers include Jane Glaister, Jane Sellars and Barbara Woroncow, who will discuss their successful backgrounds working in the cultural and museum sectors and what the glass ceiling means to them. The discussion will be chaired by Dr Sara Perry, Senior Lecturer in Cultural Heritage Management at the University of York.

£6 for adults, £4.50 for students.
Complimentary refreshments available.
Booking required, please call 01723 374753.
