East Riding Youth Dance is an extremely exciting 10 week community dance programme within the East Riding for young people from school years 5 and upwards.

In weekly sessions participants will work closely with professional dance artists, providing a platform for those with little or no previous background in dance to have a fun, energetic and inspirational experience.

Participants can expect to try their hand at a range of dance styles including contemporary and street dance whilst developing their creative technique and dance skills.

As a part of the programme each group will contribute to the creation of an original dance piece to be performed at the biggest Youth Dance Platform at Bridlington Spa and showcase their development over the sessions.

The dance sessions last for 2 hours and cost £50 for the full 10 weeks.

Easy Street - Farrer's Bar Brasserie| Scarborough Spa

Relax with the wonderful backdrop of Scarborough’s South Bay whilst listening to some of the very best musical talent that the local area has to offer.

This week we are delighted to welcome ‘The King of The Keyboards’, Scarborough Spa’s resident Organist Howard Beaumont with his trio Easy Street.

Howard is joined by vocalist Roger Maughan and double bassist Bob Malinowski to play some of the finest standards old and new, chosen from the music of Tony Bennett, Matt Munro, Oscar Peterson, Stevie Wonder and many more.

Easy-on-the-ear, yet exciting arrangements with just a hint of jazz.

These three musicians have come together after working worldwide on cruise ships, in concert halls and theatres, to play the kind of music that they really enjoy.

Monday Menu served from 5pm - Live Music 7pm – 9pm
