After attracting large and enthusiastic audiences in recent years, The Orchestra's Sunday concerts continue to delight audience members old and new thanks to the Pay What You Like initiative. (Recommended Donation: £3)

Performed within the elegant Suncourt Enclosure with Scarborough's stunning South Bay as the back-drop, Sunday Morning Concerts always have an extra pizzazz with plenty of familiar tunes and jaunty rhythms, balanced by romantic melodies, stirring marches, lilting waltzes – and so much more to entertain you.

Friends of Whitby Pavilion present their latest Summer Sundays Live free concert in the Pavilion Cafe on Sunday 8th September featuring Whitby Whaler Band. Drawn from members of Whitby's University of the Third Age, this popular bunch of musicians offer traditional dance tunes mixed with songs ancient and modern across a wide range of genres - there will be something to appeal to everyone.
The Cafe will be open for lunches and other refreshments so do come along and make an occasion of it.
Admission is free and the music will get underway at 1pm.

Javed is a British teen of Pakistani descent growing up in 1987 England. Amidst the racial and economic turmoil of the times, he writes poetry as a means to escape the intolerance of his hometown and the inflexibility of his traditional father.

But when a classmate introduces him to the music of Bruce Springsteen, Javed sees parallels to his working-class life in the powerful lyrics. As Javed discovers an outlet for his own pent-up dreams, he also begins to express himself in his own voice.

Step Back In Time With ‘LIPSTICK ON YOUR COLLAR’ At The Scarborough Spa

The exciting new production ‘Lipstick on Your Collar’ is set to bring some of the finest West End talent to Scarborough Spa in 2019.

‘Lipstick on Your Collar’ will visit The Spa Theatre on Sunday 8 September, 2019 where you can experience the golden era of music.

From the birth of Rock n Roll through to the Beat Group sounds of the British Invasion and beyond, the show is packed with over forty hits from the likes of Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Ronettes, Cliff Richard, Cilla Black and many more.

Performed by a full live band, featuring some of the country's top musicians, this incredible show features excellent vocals, tight harmonies and an infectious sense of fun.

Get your rock ‘n’ roll shoes at the ready, grab yourself a milkshake and relax - you are in for an evening of back to back hits from the 1950s and 60s!
