We invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy a performance by some of the most versatile musicians you are ever likely to find.
As always, our morning concerts will present music on the lighter, brighter side with plenty of familiar tunes and jaunty rhythms, balanced by romantic melodies, stirring marches, lilting waltzes – and so much more to entertain you.
All morning concerts are performed within the elegant Suncourt Enclosure with Scarborough's stunning South Bay as the back-drop. If the weather is inclement, don’t worry, we simply move inside!
Our concerts still offer excellent value but if you have never experienced a Scarborough Spa Orchestra we invite you to one of our Sunday morning concerts where you can Pay What You Like! (Recommended Donation £3)
We look forward to meeting our audiences throughout the season, renewing old friendships and making new ones as we aim to introduce more and more people to the wonderful music played by the Legendary Scarborough Spa Orchestra.
There is no better way to spend a relaxing morning in Scarborough!
We hope to see you this Summer.

A brand new musical opportunity is coming to Scarborough and there's a call for local singers, of all abilities, to get involved. Remarkable Rock Choir has been established in Bridlington & Beverley for 3 years, with over 160 members, and for the first time, they're coming to Scarborough.
The choir sings with a live band of professional musicians and performs in some of the best local venues.
They are hosting a free taster session on Monday May 13th, at the YMCA, St Thomas Street, Scarborough, YO11 1DY, at 7:30pm. Prospective members can come along for a free taster session on that first night, or any Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) up till the end of term in July. The choir is open to anyone aged 16 & over, and there's no audition to join. If you do decide to join the entire term costs just £38. Musical Director Mark Howley said "Scarborough has a great music scene and lots of fantastic choirs. Hopefully we can compliment what's already going on and provide something different. Remarkable Rock is not a typical choir – you work with a full team of vocal coaches at every rehearsal and perform with a live rock band. No backing tracks, no T-Shirts, a genuine rock experience. There's no audition, no formal training or experience needed, no need to be able read music - we use great rock songs and gorgeous harmonies. We perform music from all Eras & Genres of Rock - from Chuck Berry, The Beatles & Bowie through to R.E.M., Radiohead, & The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Hopefully we can getting Scarborough rocking!".
The group will be rehearsing at the YMCA on Mondays, 7:30pm, from May 13th. You can message Mark for more details or to register your interest on 07943 276496 or remarkable.tc@hotmail.co.uk

A modern classic about a group of strangers who come together every week for a tap dancing class in their local church hall, this comedy features a cast of ten characters, who gradually form friendships and reveal secrets, whilst their dynamic dance teacher Mavis strives to keep them in time.
This play won the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Comedy and has been has performed all over the world – now it’s your chance to see it at the Stephen Joseph Theatre for the very first time, directed by the SJT’s Artistic Director Paul Robinson, with the same creative team who brought you last summer’s hit comedy The 39 Steps.
Stepping Out was also made into a film starring Liza Minelli and Julie Walters, and the play recently enjoyed a successful West End run. This brand new production promises to be fun-filled, heart-warming and toe-tapping.
