It is now in its 4th year and has raised £2.7 million since 2016. This much needed fundraising will go towards helping people with dementia and their carers.
We want to help people live well with dementia. We run activity groups, singing groups, carers courses and also raise awareness in the local community by offering our one hour ‘dementia friends’ free training sessions to local business, care homes and hospital teams etc.
We can’t achieve any of these things without the great fundraising initiatives like this.
....You can Bake your own (or cheat by buying them) and host your very own cupcake day event by signing up online .
To receive your free fundraising pack, sign up to cupcake day today (cupcakdeday.org.uk) with ideas on how to raise money on the day, stickers, posters, and cupcake accessories.... There’s even a ‘cupcake selfie frame’ so you can post any of your baking masterpieces to social media by using the hashtag #cupcakeday.

We invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy a performance by some of the most versatile musicians you are ever likely to find.
As always, our morning concerts will present music on the lighter, brighter side with plenty of familiar tunes and jaunty rhythms, balanced by romantic melodies, stirring marches, lilting waltzes – and so much more to entertain you.
All morning concerts are performed within the elegant Suncourt Enclosure with Scarborough's stunning South Bay as the back-drop. If the weather is inclement, don’t worry, we simply move inside!
Our concerts still offer excellent value but if you have never experienced a Scarborough Spa Orchestra we invite you to one of our Sunday morning concerts where you can Pay What You Like! (Recommended Donation £3)
We look forward to meeting our audiences throughout the season, renewing old friendships and making new ones as we aim to introduce more and more people to the wonderful music played by the Legendary Scarborough Spa Orchestra.
There is no better way to spend a relaxing morning in Scarborough!
We hope to see you this Summer.

In June we will be creating with:
- the Daisy Lane stamp set and matching Daisy punches; and
- the Free as a Bird stamp set and matching Stitched Nested Label dies
The class costs £15.00 or is FREE with a minimum order (of £35) and includes:
- all materials needed to make the cards (except adhesive), along with envelopes;
- face-to-face instruction on the day;
- refreshments.
Please bring your own preferred adhesive (or you can purchase some at class). Beginners will easily be able to follow the instructions and experienced crafters are welcome to put their own spin on the projects. You will have a choice of sentiment, so please don’t be put off by the sentiments pictured (I like to show the ones included in the featured stamp sets but have plenty of alternatives for you to choose from).
If you wish to place an order (and therefore qualify for a free class) you can either place and pay for the order at the class you attend and collect it from me at a future scheduled class, or you can contact me and place your order in advance to collect at one of these June classes.
To be sure of a place, please contact me as soon as possible but at least 24hrs in advance of the class. This is so I can have enough supply packs cut ready. If you are unable to RSVP in time then you can still message me via Facebook or give me a call (0775 1133886), to check whether I can squeeze you in.
In our classes we use supplies and tools from Stampin' Up! I have been a demonstrator with this company for over 10 years and believe and trust in the quality of their products.
