We are holding a Gardeners question time with Shelia Johnson and Rodger Burnett to raise money for church of St John the Baptist in Cayton.. Tea and Coffee will be available.
The church of St John the Baptist was built in Cayton in the 12th century and in nearly 800 years there have been 37 vicars. We need your help to raise money for the church to have facilities such as a toilet. As it is a listed building the estimated cost is £75,000.

Join the Support, Time and Recovery team in support of Mental Health Awareness Week for the Mental Health Foundation...

Approximately a 2 mile walk meeting at Peasholm Park in Scarborough at 1pm near the Boat House, walk along to Scalby Mills through the Open Air Theater and meander back along the promenade to the North Bay piazza. Feel free to stick around for a cuppa and a chat at the cafe or wander away from there!

Donations welcomed in support of the charitable event.

Come along to our friendly monthly Card Class and make 4 designs of card (including the 2 pictured), complete with insert and envelope.

In May we will be creating with:

- the Label Me Pretty stamp set and matching Pretty Label punch; and
- the Tropical Chic stamp set and matching Tropical dies

The class costs £15.00 or is FREE with a minimum order (of £35) and includes:

- all materials needed to make the cards (except adhesive), along with envelopes;
- face-to-face instruction on the day;
- refreshments.

Please bring your own preferred adhesive (or you can purchase some at class). Beginners will easily be able to follow the instructions and experienced crafters are welcome to put their own spin on the projects. You will have a choice of sentiment so please don't be put off by the sentiments pictured.

If you wish to place an order (and therefore qualify for a free class) you can either place and pay for the order at the class you attend and collect it from me at a future scheduled class, or you can contact me and place your order in advance to collect at one of these May classes.

In our classes we use supplies and tools from Stampin' Up! I have been a demonstrator with this company for over 10 years and believe and trust in the quality of their products.

At the Whitby Rugby club starting at 7.30pm on Thursday the 8th November and then weekly from there on. The club will be known as The Jukebox Ukes and will be open to all , there will be a choice of songs projected onto a screen on the wall so all will be able to follow. So don’t forget your Ukes.

The aim of the club is to allow people of all ages to enjoy their music in a group environment and hopefully learn from each other, so come along if you are both an experienced player, a beginner or anywhere in between.
This is a new venture so we hope it will grow so please come along on Thursday the 8th.
