Joy offers one and two day courses. You can also arrange a longer course for a more complex project.

Fee for one day: £45
Fee for two days: £90

On the one day course you will be able to make a mosaic for indoors, for example a small picture to hang up, coasters, a bee, seahorse, a sign for the bathroom or bedroom. You can work from your own design idea or Joy can help you come up with a design.
On a two day course you could work on a more complex project such as a pair of double sided sun catchers, or working directly into cement you could make a number or sign for your front door, or an owl or dragonfly for the garden. You will be able to make a mixed media mosaic, and on a two day course you could also choose to learn the classical indirect method working in reverse on paper. This technique can be useful if you wish to work later on a larger project. For more information on the indirect method click here. You can work from your own design idea or Joy can help you come up with a design.

To create a two day course simply book any two days from the list of dates. You will need to make a separate booking for each day.
Joy also teaches casting into cement to create a paving slab, and can run this course for minimum of two people.
You can book any of Joy's courses by vising her website, or by emailing/calling her.
Maximum number of students per course- 4
You will have the opportunity during the course to chat about your future mosaic plans and projects and next steps in a relaxing atmosphere.

“I do love nothing in the world so well as you- is not that strange?”

Six long years of war are finally over. Returning soldiers swap the booming battlefield for a landscape of love, masked balls and much-needed laughter. Two young dreamers (Hero and Claudio) fall head over heels, while two others (Benedick and Beatrice) resume their combative courtship.

As faithful friends plot romance and a vengeful brother plans destruction, can true love conquer all, or will whispers and rumour win out?

Told in true Northern Broadsides style and set at the end of World War II, this production of Shakespeare’s glorious romantic comedy is sure to capture your hearts this spring!
