YO11 2PW

We would like to invite you to a ‘Silent Art Auction’ on 6th December 2018 at Woodend Creative to raise awareness of the great work we have been doing in the community since 1990. Our charity grew from community work and we wish to celebrate this with a Silent Auction of art work from artists exhibited side by side with pieces from local community art projects including service users. This is the first event of this type that we will be holding, and we are very excited to be working collaboratively with our patron Shirley Vauvelle on this project.

The ‘Silent Art Auction’ allows bidders to discreetly bid on artwork produced by artists and local community art projects whilst supporting the work Advocacy Alliance undertakes in the local community. The event will be opened by the Mayor of Scarborough at 4pm and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
We would like to invite you to this exciting auction, as it is an opportunity for you to purchase an original piece of art that you could use in your business premises or in your home. We have had a number of artists donated items, ranging from sculptures to paintings. Artists who have donated include: Shirley Vauvelle, Bren Head, Tim Bulmer; Heather Burton, Robert Brindley, Richard Cammish, Davlo and many others. All the art donations we have received can be viewed on our website The website also offers the facility to bid on works.
At Advocacy Alliance we enable people to express their views and concerns, to access information and services, to defend their rights and responsibilities and to explore their choices and options. We are passionate about equality and believe everyone should be given opportunity to be listened to and treated with respect.
We hope to see you on 6th December

Alice in Wonderland

Thursday 6th December, 2018 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Tel: 01723 370541

Stephen Joseph Theatre
YO11 1JW

Once upon a time there was a little girl who ran free in the wilds of her imagination, meeting Cheshire Cats, Mad Hatters, White Rabbits and any amount of talking cards. Her Wonderland was real, and she’d never forget it.

Until she grew up and did.

This year, the team that brought you the smash hit Christmas shows A (Scarborough) Christmas Carol and Pinocchio invite you to Boyes on a crowded Christmas Eve, as Alice falls down the rabbit hole once again to find she’s still a child in Wonderland… but Wonderland has changed.

And not for the better.

Can she save her wonderful friends? Will she get back to her kids, who she left by a fire extinguisher near the stock room? And can you get decent phone reception at the Mad Hatter’s house?

Daft, exciting and filled with brilliant songs, Alice in Wonderland is a delight for all the family, and their rabbits.*

*The rabbit thing might not be true. Who knows what rabbits are into? Leave them behind.
