Start the New Year with Yoga. Yoga practice improves both your strength and flexibility. Classes always include breathing exercises helping you to ease stress and calm the mind, lots of warm ups to ease stiffness in the joints and muscles and boost circulation, a range of postures building both strength and flexibility. Every class ends with a Deep Relaxation which replenishes your energy levels. This course will focus on a range of dynamic sequences, restful poses including inversions, we will also focus on improving our natural seated pose and the practice of Classic seated twists. Through movement we will find 'Stillness'.
This course runs every Monday for 10 weeks with a break for half term.
There is a fee of £67 for the course but those in receipt of certain means-tested benefits could get the course free of charge.

Monday 12th February 2018 at Eastside Community Centre Whitby Parent/Carer must supervise children. Charitable donation of £1-50 per head includes a healthy Dino-themed lunch- Dino egg sandwiches etc. eat the fruit that dino's may have eaten! A large Dino cake will be available. followed by fun educational activities. These include competitions with prizes-Dino Collage, Design-a-Dino, Dino Mask and Dino Pencil Pots. Other activities include Fossil Excavation and Identification, Dinosaur jigsaws and books, decorating Dino Bookmarks and Door Hangers, choosing instruments and singing Dino Songs and handling a large selection of dinosaurs.

Learn how to survive in the wild by building natural shelters and fires, harvesting foods and rope making materials, filtering water, using tools for construction and learning first aid skills.
