To discuss the nature of community Sheds that are aimed at well being and combating isolation. There has been a Men's Shed in Sleights area of Whitby (SAMS) for two years. That has outgrown capacity and a new Men's Shed is opening in central Whitby on 6th February. It will be at the same location as the Whitby Women's Shed that was launched in September 2017. They change the outlook of people for the better.

Work has been going on to organise Sheds in Staithes for the Mulgrave area and progress is very positive and swift. The Social Club has approved use of premises and we await the outcome shortly of a funding bid.

Come to this meeting to learn more about the prospects.

A hilarious cabaret musical about depression, that explains, sings, and throws glitter about how it’s OK not to be OK.

Sally’s a happy person. She doesn’t let little things get her down and almost never cries. But she’s got an illness. It makes her feel like she isn’t the person she wants to be, but she doesn’t want anyone to know about it.

Written by Olivier Award winner Jon Brittain (Rotterdam and Margaret Thatcher Queen of Soho) with music by Matthew Floyd Jones (Frisky & Mannish).

It’s a joyful, buoyant, gleeful, slightly silly, sugar-coated, unrelenting and completely super happy show! Except for the bits about depression.
