The Old Ship Inn
90 St John Street
Bridlington
YO16 7JS

Hoodoo Brown started life as an idea between members of several local bands that were moving on to new things. Some members were looking for a new direction, others had come from very successful local covers bands but all wanted to get out on the live scene again.

Hoodoo's members have been around a while. Shep and John have spent many years playing the Scarborough local live scene boasting many achievements with The Remedy including playing at Scarborough Open Air Theatre in support of Status Quo and being booked weekend after weekend at some of Scarborough's many music venues. Rich spent several years playing guitar for Friday Street, who whilst with them racked up several local festivals including 2 years as the headline act at Staxtonbury, headliners at Dubs int' Dales VW festival and several Beer Festivals.

All this great music just needed the final piece of the jigsaw which came in the form of vocalist Chris, not only has he got the vocals but he has the all round package that is needed to deliver the energy, charisma and attitude that makes a good frontman!
