Keith James in Concert: The Songs of Leonard Cohen
Saturday 25 January, 7.30pm | Whitby Pavilion Theatre

This wonderful Tower of Songs - stripped back and desolate

Enigmatic and sub textural, songwriter Leonard Cohen was an unflinching character, with an exact sense of prose, a wry humour and courage to wrestle with the unspoken, forgiving human frailty with the brush of each line.

His music befriended an entire generation and so the announcement of his passing has truly marked the end of an era. He challenged us to listen more carefully, speak more thoughtfully, think more deeply and recognize our own humanity.. A Man of Grace. This world will miss him very much..

With a reputation of performing in this exact way and with an undying love of the ‘pure song’ Keith James gives you a concert of Cohen’s amazing material in an intimate and sensitive style, exposing the solitary inner strength of his greatest songs in their original perfect form.

Amongst a concert of Cohen’s well known songs, including Famous Blue Raincoat, Sisters of Mercy, Suzanne and Hallelujah are also poems by Federico Garcia Lorca that Keith James has set to music. Lorca is said to be Cohen’s greatest influence. Additionally, songs from Leonard Cohen’s Album ‘You want it Darker’ released only 10 days before his death – produced by his son, Adam..

Tickets: £15 (Advanced), £17 (On The Door) *plus booking fee

Tropic Skincare with Rreece Pamper

Hey there!!
Just wanted you to know about my new exciting news...... I have become an independent ambassador with Tropic Skincare, only the fastest growing beauty company in the UK (and they have been for the past 4 years), the company will be 7 years old in May 2020.
The company was founded by Susie Ma at the age of 15 (she’s 31 now) and after appearing on The Apprentice in 2011 and even though she didn’t win Lord Alan Sugar was so impressed with her he invested (£200k) into Tropic with he and Susie as 50/50 partners (btw company turnover last year £29 million!!!).
Oh and she’s his best investment from the Apprentice EVER and she didn’t even win!

You may be wondering why, well apart from the info above, this is my why....
After suffering with bad acne for years (I’d tried every skincare product under the sun and spent a small fortune!) a friend sent me some Tropic products to try (tbh I’d never even heard of Tropic), omg the difference in my skin in less than a week was incredible, my skin wasn’t as oily, the redness had calmed right down, I was less spotty, a few weeks on I’ve no breakouts or spots and one of the products has also helped to reduce the scarring caused by acne.
In fact this and that the company is certified by the Vegan Society, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and Cruelty Free international (a big thing for me), is what made me want to be part of this incredible company.

The products are 100% naturally derived so there’s no toxic chemicals or harsh preservatives (I’ve found out these are really bad for your health - who knew!!) and I’m absolutely loving them.

I am looking to share these products and share the Tropic love with you through pamper evenings/afternoons or a coffee mornings, 1-2-1’s (a facial for you) in the comfort of your home or at the salon.

I’m also looking to expand my team in the North Yorkshire area and I’d love to offer you the opportunity to join me and Tropic as an independent ambassador, with an incredible amount of opportunities and incentives plus you can do as much or as little as you want, so you can make it work for you around your existing job, the family and commitments, and it’s a great way to boost your own or your families income without any targets at all, just the most fantastic incentives (my manager has been an ambassador for nearly 4 years and she was telling me she’s been on expenses trips to Finland, Paris, Mauritius, South Africa, Barcelona and on 1st February she’s going to Cambodia and Vietnam!!!! - how amazing is that.

It would be great if you come along to my launch on Sunday 26th January but if you can’t make it but would like to know more about the products and/or the company please message me x
