Reiki Healing, is a form of energy healing, that can help with physical, mental and emotional problems, by clearing blocked energy points on your body. The drop in is so that people can come and have a chat and a taster session to see if this would help with any of their problems. I have seen significant results in clients with rheumatism, arthritis, back pain, migraines and chronic conditions such as Fibromyalgia. Come and see if we can help you.

Inspired by the North York Moors National Park’s Dark Skies Festival (http://www.darkskiesnationalparks.org.uk/north-york-moors-events/northyorkmoors/fancy-a-stargazing-party), we are delighted to host our very own Star Gazing Party. It has been a few years since we hosted our last star gazing event, but with the kind help of Mark Dawson from the Whitby & District Astronomical Society we thought it was time to revisit the sky with his expert help. Our boarding students will also be enlisted to help out with a scaled solar system demonstration before we start observing. Mark will then talk on what is visible, pointing out the brighter stars, constellations and objects of interest.

Our wonderful friends at The Baytown Coffee Company will be launching and serving their very special blend made to celebrate the Dark Skies festival. Expect dark, smooth and bold flavours to compliment your stargazing (and to help you stay awake…).

Limited places are available. Please contact Angelique on marketing@fylinghall.org for further details.

Here’s hoping for clear skies!!

It's 1979, rubbish is on the streets, and it’s tricky being Fiz. She's 13, she's got no money, her sister's pregnant and her mum thinks she’s a waste of space...

Rick remembers what it’s like to be a teenager. So when he decides to build a junk playground, he's pretty sure he has the charisma to get a bunch of reluctant kids involved. He's wrong.

But with some old-fashioned emotional bribery, Rick persuades Fiz, Higgy and Ginger to help him. And the project turns from something that means nothing to something that means a lot. And kids that care about nothing, start to care a lot.

A brilliantly honest and witty new play with music from BAFTA Award-winning writer Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, This is England ’90, Glue, Skins, Shameless…).
