Morrisons opening hrs are 8-8pm. Official website displays correct details , we are aware there are incorrect details from rogue websites
Due to social distancing guidelines we can only allow a limited amount of people in at any one time, I would encourage people to only come if it absolutely necessary, and encourage customers not to all rush to be here for opening, it causes queue's and people waiting in the cold and wet. We still have an incredible amount of elderly customers who visit the store frequently throughout the week and in some instances daily, for social reasons.
They must stay at home and only come out if nobody can help or if and when it's absolutely necessary.
We would also ask that only one person per household attend at any one time, again exception will be made, but they must ask themselves the question if it's ABSOLUTELY necessary . We have had strange interpretations of what is absolutely necessary. Every time you step out of the house and into a public place you put yourselves and everyone else at risk
We are in a serious situation, everyone at Morrisons is trying very hard to keep you safe when you come shopping, we need your help also. Thanks Rich

View From the Bunker - Update Covid19 Job Retention Scheme

Morning all and I hope everyone is staying safe.

HMRC have released the below which puts a little more meat on the bone to the Covid19 Job Retention Scheme.

Interesting to note for businesses that any grants will be essentially 'taxable' as the grants are designed to reduce the cost of employment in the business and hence will need to be included in the relevant period trading accounts.

Also noted if an employee has more than one job then the guidance suggests there are separate 'furloughing' in each employment with a separate cap limit for that employee. So for those that have more than one employment this may be of interest to you

COVID-19 sanitising service Nightingales

Information for companies with reference to COVID-19

This is for companies pre-opening, after the COVID-19 forced the shutdown of many businesses, we are taking calls from site service managers, health and safety officers within the catering industry, production plants with regard to steam generating within kitchen/canteen areas, broad spectrum sanitation and isopropyl sanitising, the main serious concern has been the duct work to factories, production plants, air input and air outputs, air handling units, rotary concentrators and offices with air ventilation systems directly above their office staff.

Due to the current climate and compliance with BESA, environmental health, HSE, all systems will have cartridge sampling sent to the laboratory and a full report of the micron readings of the contaminates to all areas tested for the customer/client, so they are aware of the contaminates that may be in their systems.
Office ventilation systems are high priority, shopping centres, large capacity factories and warehouses, food stores.

Please contact us at admin@rnightingaleltd.co.uk or 01723 370399 and speak to James Barr our Operations Manager for any further information or a free site survey.

Following the latest government guidelines, we have been asked to radically reduce the number of patients attending the practice this is to protect patients, staff and conserve personal protective equipment.
We want our patients to know we have a voicemail system in operation. If you have a severe dental emergency; such as swelling, bleeding that will not stop or signifiant dental pain. A dentist will call you back to offer you support, advice and triage you.
We are not to undertake any aerosol producing prodcedures and we do not have the PPF3 masks so I am asking my staff to protect themselves and our patients by limiting any treatments.
If you have less urgent concerns you would like to discuss you can email the practice: info@hunmanbydental.co.uk.
We would like our patients to know we are here, we will support you through this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you when we can resume our services.
As the advice changes we will keep you updated via our website - www.hunmanbydental.co.uk and our facebook page. We will be posting a dental home-care advice leaflet on there too.

SJT- The show will go on (we’re just not sure when…)

We don't need to tell you that we’re living in very strange times. We wanted to let you all know that the SJT is going to be closed for the foreseeable future – we really hope to be up and running again as soon as possible but, of course, we can’t say for sure when that will be.

Our current plans are based on being closed for most of the planned summer season, which means we’ll no longer be presenting Just Between Ourselves, The Ladykillers or Truth Will Out this year. If things start to change for the better before the autumn, we want to assure you we can get up and running quite quickly, with two shows that are almost ready to go.

Jim Cartwright’s TWO, our co-production with Hull Truck Theatre, was due to run there from 5 to 28 March, and then come to us from 31 March to 18 April. It actually had its last performance on Saturday 20 March, and is now in storage (the set, not the actors!) at Hull Truck. But it’s pretty much ready to go – we’d just need to get the set up here and into our Round, and a couple of days of re-rehearsal, and the show would go on…

We were also well advanced with our preparations for the Easter family show, Saviour Pirotta’s adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood. The set is built and just needs a few licks of paint, the actors are primed and just need a couple of weeks’ rehearsal – that could also be on our stage quite quickly.

We could also bring in films for our cinema at relatively short notice, plus schedule a few rehearsed playreadings… we could actually pull together a programme of great entertainment for you quite quickly. Here’s hoping!

In the meantime please keep safe and well, we will keep in touch and update you as things progress.

We really hope to see you soon
From all your friends at the SJT!

Andy Whitelaw Joinery

Following the advice from the government we have made the decision to shut down as of Thursday for the time been until further advice is received. We are currently completing some essential works for the NHS which will continue until the end of this week as requested by the NHS. No other works will start until further advice is received.

Although we are a building company and advise states that we can still work on site we have to take into consideration our staff, customers and their families.

As soon as advice recommends that we can safely open again normal operation will resume.

If you would still like an estimate on any works please email some images, rough dimensions and a description of what you want doing to info@andywhitelawjoinery.co.uk. Please also include your address and contact details and we will be able to get back to you with an estimate. If we have any queries or need to discuss then we will give you a quick call.

We will still be covering our emergency callouts which include emergency board up and glazing along with emergency plumbing repairs. For our emergency callout service please call 07769166168.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Tower Estates tenants help.

At Tower Estates we understand that many of our tenants will be worried about the current situation. We want to reassure you that Tower Estates are still here to help you should you need it. Our office telephone number will be manned between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday or you can leave a message on our office mobile number 07746 116906.
In an emergency you can call the numbers on the ‘emergency contact list’ which was issued to you when you moved in. If you have not downloaded the ‘Tower Estates’ App yet, do it now. This will have an up to date list of emergency numbers as things change.
If the Coronovirus outbreak puts you in financial hardship meaning you cannot pay your rent, you must let us know and we will liaise with your landlord. In theses circumstances the current guidance is that you can defer payment for up to 3 months. This rent will still be due and we work with you to discuss the most practical way to gradually catch up. Any rent you can pay in the meantime will obviously make things easier when things return to normal.
Many of our contractors are still available and willing to help you when necessary. Please be very careful to observe ‘social distancing’ protocols if anyone needs to visit your property. Let’s keep everyone safe.
Finally, Val is in the office on her own for now with Mark & Chris working from home. Please be patient with us if things take a little longer than usual. We will continue to do our best to help everyone.
Stay safe & healthy,
Tower Estates
