We have two Part Time Waking Nights Support Worker vacancies available in Scarborough right now. One post is 20 hours a week and the other is 30 hours per week, providing support to customers who may have complex needs. This posts will include some weekend work, as well as sleepover shifts. We will work with you from the very start to identify your individual career goals so that we can support you to become exactly who you want to be. You can expect to earn from £7.50 per hour for day support and up to £8.94 for sleepover shifts.

We will reward your commitment with free award winning training (which you are paid to attend), discounts at retailers including Apple; Sports Direct; Boots and Alton Towers, access to a wellbeing service which helps with personal matters such as finances; relationships and health, and we also allow you to be yourself by not asking you to wear a uniform.

Why work for us?

We are an award winning charity and we are committed to all people who are part of our organisation. Alongside the benefits listed above we offer the opportunity to develop your career by gaining a Health and Social Care qualification along with progression opportunities within the group. We pay your travel expenses between consecutive sessions of support and we even cover the cost of your Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) Certificate (which you need to be able to work in social care).

Who can apply?

Anybody! You don’t need experience, just the drive and compassion to help our customers to live great lives. Please note that being a car driver is essential for this role.
