We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible individual to assist in providing an effective, efficient and safe cleaning service.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible individual to assist in providing an effective, efficient and safe cleaning service. 

Initially, there is a temporary contract available to 22 May 2020 for 16 hours per week, term-time only. On the current rota, normal working hours are Monday to Thursday 4.15 pm to 7.30 pm and Friday 4.15 pm to 7.15 pm 

Following this, you will be employed on a sessional basis to provide cover for staff absence or to provide additional support during peak periods of work.

The College’s cleaning service is run in-house, organised by the Site & Cleaning Supervisor, Karen Dawson and overseen by our Site Manager, Kevin Leiper. The cleaning assistants are organised into two teams. 

Previous experience in a similar role and/or environment is an advantage, though training will be given. More important is a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, combined with a flexible and positive approach. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team, but also able to pro-actively carry out tasks without close supervision. 

You must be willing and able to carry out the variety of manual tasks which are an essential part of this kind of role.
