To utilise your skills, knowledge & experience gained within the Construction Industry with a view to supporting learners

Main Duties

1. Plan and deliver relevant training & assessment methods which take into account industry and individual learners needs in accordance with programme and assessment requirements

2. Prepare and administer tests/ examinations and other assessment and teaching materials as required and relevant to the industry, programme and learner needs

3. Assess learners work within the programmes and provide high quality written and verbal feedback in order to support learner progression

4. Use industry methods and styles of support consistent with programme aims and learners goals

5. Prepare and maintain learner and class records / assessment tracking and carry out internal verification/audit as appropriate

6. Carry out initial assessment of learners to inform planning and complete progress reports for learners in conjunction with the Operations Director /Curriculum leader

7. Promote good working relations to support learning and participate in the monitoring, review and evaluation of courses in line with the quality procedures

8. Establish, manage and maintain a training environment that is appropriate for industry and learner needs

9. Engage in the implementation and management of all Quality systems & procedures

10. Show a commitment and actively promote diversity, equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices and ensure that these are fully embedded within the curriculum together with ensuring that any issues/ concerns are appropriately addressed.

11. Show a commitment to ensuring that children, young people and vulnerable adults learn in a safe environment

12. Participate in relevant and appropriate training and development as required

13. Ensure that all information is secured, used and maintained in line with internal and external standards including ensuring that confidential information is processed in line with the Data Protection Act and Northern Regeneration CIC policies

14. Ensure Northern Regeneration CIC and the Construction Skills Village is appropriately safeguarded in line with the appropriate policies and procedures at all times

15. Participate in the marketing of activities for the benefit of the construction industry, Construction Skills Village and learners as required

16. Be aware of and abide by the Constructions Skills Village health and safety procedures and associated policies and contribute to the risk assessment / method statement process including enforcing the wearing of full PPE as appropriate

17. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the needs of the learners are met at all times

18. Comply with Awarding Organisations requirements for all qualifications offered

19. Carry out such other duties as requested by the Operations and Managing Director

£25 Per Hour
