2 Support Workers are required to support a 14 year old boy with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour and Communication Difficulties, develop his social skills and engage in activities.

2 Support Workers are required to support a 14 year old boy with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour and Communication Difficulties, develop his social skills and engage in activities.
His support requires 2:1 at all times.

The hours are to be fairly flexible, and will build up to 20 hours each support worker per week, but will start on a gradual basis, as due to the boy's diagnosis he finds it hard to get along with new people. Therefore, the hours need to be slowly increased once a acceptance has been established.

Initially the hours would be on a weekend 10.30 am till 1.30/2 pm, then build up to a few afternoons a week 4 pm till 7 pm (after school).

The rate of pay is £10.90 per hour and time and a half on a bank holiday, and paid 5.6 weeks annual leave.

Due to the rural location the PA's MUST have access to a vehicle.

A DBS is required for this position.
