We are looking for a proactive Demand Planner with keen attention to detail to join our Retail Sales team to ensure the delivery of best in class Supply Chain execution.
As Demand Planner, you’ll provide a world-class retail forecasting service, working collaboratively with the Sales team and cross functionally with Supply Chain, Production & External Partners. You’ll monitor and track customer and product performance, make recommendations and make changes to drive the business forward. The role will be responsible as a champion for our chilled business for a group of customers driving improvements in efficiency of our workings, service and supply. This will also give you the exciting opportunity to be part of McCain’s new chilled venture.

What you need:
We’re looking for someone who can confidently support delivery of the Retail Sales fiscal commitments driving best and next best practise. Ideally you will have an analytical, FMCG background, where you have managed multiple customer expectations and projects. Results focused and a true influencer, you’ll have outstanding communication skills and the drive to ensure that customer planning cycles are met accurately and on time. You will also be flexible and able to quickly adapt.
A successful candidate will be one who is highly organised, able to manage a number of different tasks with excellent communication skills, and with the ability to motivate self and others. Highly analytical, with experience of developing processes, reports and business use of integrated business systems.
Given the dynamism of chilled production, the role would naturally require a level of work flexibility to allow for weekend rotation
