Job Description: Marketing/Digital Marketing Executive


  1. Overview


The successful candidate will be employed by JuicEBitz Audio Visual Limited (JuicEBitz, us, our) as a Marketing/Digital Marketing Executive and will report to the Managing Director.


JuicEBitz is a small company and in order to ensure our continued success our employees must work flexibly and perform duties which fall outside their normal role.


We have set out below a typical list of activities/responsibilities for this role however they are not exhaustive. As such, the successful candidate will be expected to perform any other duties which are consistent with this role, as well as other duties which fall outside the scope of the same, which JuicEBitz may reasonably require.


  1. General Responsibilities and Duties


As a Marketing/Digital Marketing Executive you will be expected to:


  • increase and maintain our online presence, including our presence on social media platforms;
  • create and develop new content as well as improve existing content. This will include our website, emails, blogs and social media (Facebook, Twitter etc);
  • manage and maintain our website, including continually working on Search Engine optimisation (SEO) of the website;
  • analyse website traffic flow and provide the Managing Director with regular reports;
  • develop and manage digital marketing campaigns;
  • keep up to date with the latest online marketing trends and identify any emerging technologies to ensure we are at the forefront of developments;
  • plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests;
  • perform general day-to-day office administration duties relating to marketing/online marketing;
  • fix, or arrange to have fixed, any bugs or errors in any of our online content;
  • analyse and evaluate customer experience across our online marketing platforms;
  • share any ideas about new and creative growth strategies;
  • attend product launches and network events;
  • manage time sensitive tasks efficiently and to any deadlines;
  • create online banner adverts;
  • keep up to date with the bounce rate of visitors to our website and improve the rate by using high quality images, videos that will engage our customers and generally providing a better overall experience for our customers (for example by improving our website navigation);
  • be proactive in learning and be able to seek out and/or find ways to accomplish challenges that the business has not met before, to learn new skills as and when required and not leave things to chance;
  • comply with our Data Protection Policy and GDPR Policy;
  • comply with our clear desk policy, which is operational at all times, and ensure your personal and general work areas are clean and tidy, ready for the next working day. All paperwork must be locked away at close of business;


  1. Skills and Personal Qualities


In order to perform this role, you will be expected to:


  • Previous experience in marketing for an online business and be able to show how your involvement made an impact and to what result;
  • An understanding of Google Shopping, Google Analytics & PPC Campaigns, or the ability to show knowledge and working of a successful campaign;
  • possess excellent computer skills; e.g. Desktop Publishing, Presentations, Magento, Excel, Graphic Design Programs and the ability to create engaging material;
  • possess excellent communication skills; both verbally and written;
  • have the desire to help grow our business;
  • have a passion for learning;
  • be trustworthy, reliable and dependable;
  • think strategically;
  • be able to work under pressure in a logical and organised manner;
  • maintain accuracy and pay excellent attention to detail;
  • be able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • be self-motivated and able to use initiative;
  • be able to stay calm under pressure;

You may therefore be required to carry out further duties as may be consistent with this role or as may be reasonably required by JuiceBitz.
