Closing Date:

East Riding of Yorkshire Council

Bridlington and surrounding area

As a foster carer for East Riding Council you will be providing a safe and supportive home to a vulnerable child. You will need a spare bedroom and the time and commitment to give to a young person.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is recruiting self-employed foster carers to care for children aged 0 - 18 years old. Foster carers will need to be assessed and once approved you will receive an allowance for each child in your care. You will be provided with comprehensive support, a huge range of quality training and your own dedicated social worker to offer you practical and emotional support when you need it. Along with a generous fostering allowance, you will also receive free access to facilities at East Riding Leisure Centres.

We welcome enquiries from people of all religions, races, genders and sexuality. Our foster carers reflect a wide range of circumstances and life experience - for example, you may be married, single, in a relationship, divorced, widowed, employed or unemployed - we assess every application on an individual basis.

You must have at least one spare bedroom at the time of your application and have the time and energy to meet the emotional needs of a child or young person.
