A Support Worker is required for 20 - 25 hours per week to support a young man with Alstrom Syndrome which has caused blindness and diabetes.

A Support Worker is required for 20 - 25 hours per week to support a young man with Alstrom Syndrome which has caused blindness and diabetes.

The hours are to be covered are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with extra hours possible but these will be flexible/evening.

The role includes helping the young man live a healthy lifestyle including preparing meals, checking blood sugars and help him exercise regularly. Our client lives in town, has a great sense of humour and enjoys a good laugh and social life. Activities include going to the gym, walking or going out to social events, sports groups and "talking football".

A DBS, references, a clean Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this position.
