Highlights for 2019

 

Full programme of Easter Adventures from the 6th -28th April

Featuring Medieval Jousting on Easter Sunday (21st April), an Easter Trail, Rusticus adventures, donkey rides, Easter bunnies, and much more!

 

Spring Family Fun Day on Sunday 26th May

Part of the Active Coast programme and featuring giant inflatables, the Nerf Zone, sumo suits, sport and play, face painting, donkey rides and live music.

 

Spring Spectacular from 25th May to 2nd June

Fun events and activities throughout the half term break.

 

Motor events from May to August

Featuring historic and classic vehicles, including Triumph Bikes 70th anniversary on 2nd June, with up to 400 motorbikes on display.

 

Yorkshire Day on 1st August

One of the biggest events in the Sewerby calendar, featuring traditional swing boats, donkey rides and Rusticus Adventure: Up in the Air!

Visit the Edwardian Kitchen where they will be baking using recipes found in the East Riding Archives and make your own Yorkshire Flag to take away.

Feeling energetic? Why not join in the Yorkshire Pudding and Spoon races? Michael Wood, the Town Crier for East Riding of Yorkshire, will be at Sewerby Hall to celebrate the day with his Loudest Town Crier competition.

 

The Summer of Fun

Events and activities throughout the summer holidays, including a celebration of 80 years since the release of classic movie ‘The Wizard of Oz’: on the 11th August, come along and enjoy a day full of Wizard of Oz themed events including Rusticus Adventures: In the Land of Oz! , Themed Face Painting and Scarecrow Stilt Walkers.

Throughout the summer, don't forget to visit the Walled Gardens to see the Wizard of Oz garden trail created by the team at Worklink.

 

The Summer Family Fun Day on Sunday 18th August

A day jam-packed with serious amounts of fun and games including giant inflatables, Punch and Judy shows, face painting, traditional swing boats and donkey rides . Accompanied by the Morris Minor car rally, music and the Bridlington Art Society exhibition, this really is a day for all the family.

Admission Information

Day admission to Sewerby Hall and Gardens costs £8.40 for adults; £6.20 for children; or £28 for a family ticket (two adults and two children). In term time, the prices are £7.90 for adults; £5.70 for children; and £26 for a family ticket.

An Annual Pass – valid for 12 months from the date of purchase – costs £26 for an adult; £14 for a child; or £70 for a family. Passes also allow out of season entry to the house and zoo together with ten per cent discount on selected items in the Clock Tower Cafe and Stables Gift Shop all year round.
