Yorkshire Coast Radio is proud to be supporting Scarborough's Armed Forces Day in Scarborough on Saturday, 24th June 2017. Join us as we broadcast live from the event and help us say ‘Thank You’ to the British Armed Forces – the past, present and future.

Now in its ninth year, this popular family fun day is set to be a brilliant event. From amazing displays from the Red Arrows to a spectacular landing by RAF Falcons parachute display team not to mention band performances, parades and so much more, this event is certainly not to be missed.

Victoria Mitchell, the Brunswick Shopping Centre Manager, explains why they are supporting Yorkshire Coast Radio’s coverage of Armed Forces Day:

Scandinavian Marching Youth Bands step off from Luna Park to Foreshore

11.00 RAF FALCONS Parachute Display Team will land on Southbay beach

12.00 Civic opening led by the Yorkshire Volunteers Band followed by the Scarborough Sea Cadets with gun
