One organisation that has been providing apprenticeships on the Yorkshire Coast for over 30 years is Scarborough based YH Training Services.

Breast surgery explained

There were around fifty thousand breast surgery operations in the UK last year including both cosmetic and reconstructive techniques.

Penny McManus is consultant breast surgeon at Spire Health Care’s Hull and East Riding Hospital. She talks about working in the field and about the services available to women on the Yorkshire Coast.

Bridlington Kite Festival

kiteThis weekend Bridlington is set for an aerial spectacular as some of the nations best kite fliers descend on the town for it's inaugural Kite Festival.

It's a free event with activities on both Saturday and Sunday, and some of the kites involved are big, really big.

The Tour de Bridlington

cycling Hot on the wheels of the Tour de Yorkshire, this weekend see's the return of the Tour de Bridlington.

The fundraising event is organised by Headlands School and aims to raise money for local organisations by getting the town out on the roads.
