With original pictures drawn at the time, and loans from several major museums, we explore the surprising story of this little known part of Cook's voyages. The exhibition is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Admission is £4 adults, £3.50 seniors, £3 children and £10.50 for a family.

A lengthy but invigorating walk across open moorland to the source of the River Esk. Bring a packed lunch and wear appropriate footwear and clothing. Meet on the roadway adjacent to Westerdale Church. £2 per person.
