ROTUNDA RELAUNCH
Rotunda Museum, Scarborough

The Rotunda Museum will celebrate its opening weekend on 10 and 11 May. There will be a party in the grounds both days with face painting, dinosaur type activities, stilt walkers, music, magicians, dancers - Irish, folk, morris, steel bands and lots of fun. On Saturday 10 May entry to the Museum will be by Evening News ticket only. The party will be open to everyone. On Sunday 11 May the Museum will be open for normal admission and the party will be open to everyone. £4.50 day ticket, annual tickets £8, under 18’s FREE.

David Wilkinson's work reflects the spectacular, ever changing light and atmosphere of the North York Moors, inspired by the quality of light, dramatic skies and colour. Admission is FREE.

Filey Ladies Lions invite you to a Spring Fayre and Coffee Morning. Stalls include Cakes, Produce and Tombola. Admission is £1 and includes refreshments.
SMOKING COASTS & ICE-BOUND SEAS
Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Whitby

With original pictures drawn at the time, and loans from several major museums, we explore the surprising story of this little known part of Cook's voyages. The exhibition is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Admission is £4 adults, £3.50 seniors, £3 children and £10.50 for a family.
