Libraries across the country will be celebrating National Libraries Day on Saturday 4^th February 2012, for all the wonderful, inspirational and essential things libraries do and the contribution they make to society.

North Yorkshire Libraries will be encouraging everyone to join their local library and to find out more about what is on offer. 

Some libraries will be holding events or special promotions.

Throughout the week anybody can drop in and add their memories and then the results will be put together in a special reminiscent scrap book.

Scarborough:

Friends of Scarborough/Forty Club Debate   11.15am
