The Parent’s Guide to money has been put together by financial, parenting and health experts and aims to help parents plan their finances at a time of major change in their lives. It gives tips and guidance as to how you can benefit and budget when expanding your family.

The Parent’s Guide to money is available from midwives, and we’ll also be giving away copies in the town centre on Saturday 5th April.

Are you working? Book your maternity leave - you can have up to 52 weeks, up to 39 weeks of which can be paid and if you are returning to work you have a right to ask for a more family friendly working arrangement, for example flexible working or job sharing.
