By-election Results For Esk Valley And Streonshalh Wards

Voters went to the polls yesterday to vote for two new councillors for Scarborough Borough Council.  The wards being contested in the by-elections were EskValley and Streonshalh in the northern part of the borough.

 

Following the counts for both wards today at the Spa Complex Scarborough, Michael Henry Ward (Independent) was elected as borough councillor to represent the Esk Valley ward and Tina Marie Davy (Labour Party) was elected as borough councillor for the Streonshalh ward.

 

Turn out for the Esk Valley was 30.66%.  Turn out for Streonshalh was 21.75%.
