The members of Staintondale village hall committee have produced a 2012 calendar which is now on sale at £5. It is full of pictures of the area taken and contributed by committee members. You can buy a copy at the Staintondale post office, the Bryherstones and Hayburn Wyke inns, or call 871984. This will make a fabulous present, and the proceeds from the sale will be used for the maintenance and improvement of the Staintondale village hall. Read more...
JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

JUBILEE A day of celebration for the combined villages of Staintondale and Ravenscar will be held on Monday 4 June from 2.00. This will be organised by the two village hall committees. There will be fun and games, music and dancing, BBQ and a Royal fancy dress competition. Tickets in advance at £2.50 or £3 on the day can be obtained from village hall committee members and the two village post offices. TORCH DRAW

OLYMPIC TORCH On 18 June the Olympic Torch will pass through Scarborough, and there will be an event at the Open Air Theatre to celebrate the occasion. There is to be a variety performance before and after the arrival of the torch around mid-day. Ravenscar Cricket Club has been allocated two free tickets for this event which they are willing to offer to the people of Ravenscar and Staintondale.
