Lines open at 5pm each day, with somebody chosen at randem to play on-air at 5.20pm.

Tom's Q&A
Sagittarius
I had a Saturday job at Dixons, back
in the days of 35mm camera's and 8mm projectors.
Sugar Sugar by The Archies... I used
to play it on small plastic handheld record player with the needle fixed in the
lid!
Hoops
What has been your best radio moment?
Chatting with the Chatty Man... Alan
Carr. He's exactly the same character in real life.
Back in my Student Radio days I was
deliberately locked outside the studios holding a live microphone. The students
inside wouldn't play any music, so I had to keep talking.... firstly through
the letter box, and then I went to my car and started introducing songs from my
cassette collection.
you up?
Drivers that give no thought to other
road users, and being forced to pay a surcharge in restaurants. What incentive
do they have to serve you well if they are already guaranteed a tip?
Who would you most like to interview?
Tony Blackburn. We could share our
excellent collection of jokes!
I love classic disaster movies...
such as the Towering Inferno and The Poseidon Adventure.
Pipkins, with Hartley Hare and Pig.
Doctor Who, though not so keen on the
new Matt Smith. I also love a good Columbo movie (just one more thing...)
I enjoy any feel good song you can
sing along to.
Love Chinese and Indian - and it has
to be fish, chips, mushy peas and a curry sauce on a Friday!
Coast:
Filey promenade when the sea is
crashing against the defences, and looking down on the harbour while sat on the
grass on Whitby’s West Cliff.
My new lightweight ‘hoodie’ jacket...
great if there’s a bit of a chill in the air, and with the hood up it keeps me
ears warm at the Outdoor Theatre!
Bodrum in Turkey... a lovely mix of
castles, marina’s and coastline restaurants.
